A ground-breaking plant-based food technology company based in Chiswick, West London are disrupting consumer buying habits with their delicious and innovative products and are now looking for an Accounts Assistant will work closely with the Finance Manager / Administration and oversee office operations for a small but driven and dedicated team.

The role's primary focus is to achieve the company's social media follower and engagement targets in addition to supporting the marketing team by creating compelling content and delivering insightful metrics.

Responsibilities

Finance

* Manage the sales and purchaser ledger.

* Process high volume of Sales and Purchase invoices.

* Assist with the collation and recording of invoices for payment runs.

* Set up weekly payment runs.

* Assist with bank and credit card reconciliation.

* Assist with financial record keeping where required.

* Assist with quarterly VAT return.

Office Management

* Perform duties including: answering the phone, taking messages, filing mail processing and office cleanliness and presentation.

* Run errands, manage supplies, and all relevant vendor relations.

* Problem solve any technical challenges with computer systems, email and networks as needed.

* Ad-hoc updates to the employee handbook and associated organisational policies and procedures.

* Assist with recruitment of staff and maintenance of personal files.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

* Undergraduate degree

* At least two years professional work experience.

* Outstanding oral and written English communication skills.

* Excellent numeracy and MS Office (specifically Excel) skills.

* Entitled to work in the UK without work permit sponsorship.

Desirable

* Knowledge of Sage.

* Experience of supporting a finance department.
