Job Purpose Statement

This is an exciting contract opportunity for a talented individual specialising in Technology risk and controls to provide subject matter expertise, monitoring the Asset Management (AM) Technology risk operating model for the EMEA region. This individual will engage with Technology Risk, compliance and audit partners to implement and maintain an integrated operating model that effectively drives Technology performance while meeting other stakeholder needs.

Role Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time...

• Provide in depth technology risk subject matter expertise and engage Technology's leaders and their business, risk, compliance, and audit partners to further operationalize our technology risk framework.
• Help drive AM Technology risk management practices through consulting and thought leadership.
• Define a process to track issues, risks and get-well plans for items identified as needing remediation including a thorough set of KPIs and dashboards, including documented processes, risks and controls and provide reporting of status. Work with the North America AM Risk team to help build out current dashboards to provide the leadership team a view into current status of effort and scorecards for their areas.
• Leverage the organization's Technology Control Framework and comprehensive risk catalogue to collectively help drive Technology performance while meeting other stakeholder needs.
• Work with the AM Technology team in North America to help implement the global GRC tool across EMEA look to use this to participate in operation effectiveness validations on a quarterly basis
• Help drive the Operational Risk Management (ORM) process for technology organization. Guide key contacts in the Risk and technology teams through completion of ORM deliverables with a focus on identifying key risks and controls in processes deemed vital for the reliably delivering services and solutions. Identify new risks and keep action plans current for high risk items.
• Design materials and conduct any Technology governance-related training.
• Facilitate the inclusion of Risk principles into awareness and training programs on topics such as performance

Key Capabilities

To be successful in this role you will have...

• Strong understanding of controls in a Technology environment
• Strong knowledge and use of Cobit 5
• Certifications Preferred: CISA, CGEIT, CRISC
• Experience in public accounting, consulting or internal audit
• Strong presentation skills
• Financial services experience - particularly Asset Management, Brokerage, Insurance and Annuities
• Strong level of knowledge and experience in Technology Risk and the underlying Infrastructure.
