Badenoch & Clark are proud to be partnering with all a Registered Provider based in central London to appoint an Assistant Systems Accountant to join the team.

The role holder's primary responsibility will be to maintain the financial systems and interfaces which support the production of the accounts. This will include Oracle Financials, Asset 4000, reporting systems such as Hubble and systems used in the Transaction teams. The role will be responsible for ensuring the systems are fit for purpose and meet the user requirements. In addition, the post-holder will be responsible for ensuring staff are using the systems efficiently and effectively.

Job Duties
*Assist in the maintenance of the Chart of Accounts and Cross Validation rules in the Oracle Financials System
*Schedule and save down month-end and other ad hoc Insight reports
*Be responsible for the creation of new Insight reports as required by the business
*Maintenance of the Oracle financial Systems
*Set up and issue budget templates
*Provide assistance with reporting and other financial system queries
*Assist with tasks required for the successful completion of the statutory accounts
*Assist with system enhancements and upgrades as required
*Set up new users and reallocate licenses for financial systems as required
*Provide training to staff in the systems as required

Skills Required
*Experience of working on systems in a large organisation
*Experience of preparing either financial or management accounts
*Understanding of the General Ledger
*Understanding of the construction of a Chart of Accounts
*Experience of using Oracle Financials
*Analytic skills with a good eye for detail
*Experience of working with query languages such as sql
*An affinity with the work of the social housing / care sector
