Finance Manager

Paignton

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager for our Trade division.

In this role, you will prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual management accounts, reports, budgets, and tax packs. You will report to the Managing Director and the Divisional Financial Director, working closely with senior management to maintain controls; and identify procedures and key management information to help drive through improved efficiencies and margins.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Management of information (e.g. reports, year-end audit schedules etc).
• Accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Proactive support of other company management teams within the Epwin Group, identifying key issues and suggesting solutions.
• Work closely with sales support department on costings / quotes, order release, credit cover etc.
• Stock management.
• Management of Trade accounts team (9 persons).

Desirable Experience, Skills & Attributes:

• Proven experience within a similar role.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Budget and Forecast experience.
• Commercially minded.
• Ability to challenge normal working practices in an effective and inclusive manner.
• Proven experience of improving financial working processes.
• Process management and redesign with an End to End approach.
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience at presenting and speaking at high level management meetings
• Knowledge of Navision (preferable but not essential).
