Cherry Professional are currently working with a leading Manufacturing business in Derby who require an Financial Accountant on for a Fixed Term Contract of 14 Months.

Key details include;

• Own various processes including the fixed asset accounting processes and ensuring all controls are met consistently
• Budgets and Forecasting
• Overseeing all close processes (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and ensuring accuracy at all times
• Monthly tracking, reporting and analysis of all spend
• Keep up to date and ensure a highly detailed understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP
• Support the business with acquisitions and accounting changes

The role will suit a qualified accountant who has experience working within the FMCG / manufacturing environment. You will be determined to drive the business forward. You will be used to asking the 'why?' and challenging the status-quo while working within a forward thinking Finance team.
