Job Details

A multi-national Manufacturing firm based South of Birmingham City Centre, are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their Senior Management team as a Commercial Financial Controller. This position will pay a salary in the region of £65,000 to £70,000 + pension and a 10% annual bonus.

Reporting into the Finance Director, the Commercial Financial Controller will be responsible for a £100m turnover division across multiple UK sites, whilst also managing a small finance team with minimal travel required between sites. This position can be described as a hybrid role with broad coverage, where you'll act both as Plant Financial Controller and Lead Senior Finance Business Partner. You'll also take full responsibility of the financial planning & analysis.

It is highly desirable that you'll be a Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years relevant post qualification experience (or a minimum of 8 years relevant experience). The client has a preference for applicants with at least a Bachelors degree and it would help to have experience working in a Large, complex multi-national organisation. Previous manufacturing sector experience is desirable but not essential. It would help your application if you have at least 2 year's experience of managing a Finance team.
