With a vast product range, our clients Manufacturing operations are spread across 5 main sites across Glasgow and England with over 650 employees and plans to increase in the next year by a further 100. With a growth agenda our client continues to increase in size through growth, diversification and acquisition increasing from 50 million to an impressive 85 million with a desire to further increase their portfolio.

Locally in Glasgow there is a team of 15 in Finance. The appointment of Management Accountant is a critical role to provide detailed Management Information and analysis to support senior management and add value across the business. This is a commercial role suited to an ambitious and motivated Management Accountant with strong reporting skills and ability to communicate information to financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Your new role
The Management Accountant will support the Finance business partner with the provision of quality of Management information across 20+ business units and 5 manufacturing sites. Our client are a growing and ambitious business and the management accountant will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, budget preparation, KPI reporting, forecasting and adhoc analysis for acquisitions.

You will also be responsible for designing and financial modelling, costings and performance reporting tasks. The Management Accountant will be responsible for the detailed review of margin and historical figures, budgeting and forecasts for each division and site with an appreciation of sales, work in progress and review of key performance indicators. It is expected that the Management Accountant will travel once per month to other business sites across the UK.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is on an exciting journey with significant growth and progression on offer for the right person. The management accountant will facilitate process improvements across month-end processes and have a clear line of site into operational KPI reporting, WIP management, stock reporting and cash-flow management. You will provide quality MI and commentary and will gain exposure across mergers & acquisitions understanding the detail behind the numbers offering insight and analysis to support senior management with commercial decision making.
