The role is focused on the preparation of statutory accounts for primarily owner managed businesses for clients operating across a broad spectrum of industries. The role will suit an experienced accountant looking for a more flexible work/life balance or recently qualfied accountant looking to develop their financial accounting skills.
The role will provide the right individual to work autonomously and provide support to the development of accounting technicians within the practice. .
Financial Accounant - Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of financial accounts for limited companies based on FRS105 or FRS102
* Preparation of charity accounts using the SORP
* Manage preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships
* Maintain schedule of final accounts to be prepared ensuring compliance with deadlines
* Preparation of corporation tax returns for limited companies
* Preparation of documentation to support payment of dividends
Financial Account - Key Skills
* Qualified or qualified by experience accountant considered.
* Well-developed communication skills and has experience of working in a client focused environment
* Working knowledge of computerised systems such as Digita, QuickBooks, QBO and Sage are desirable
* Strong team player that can work across functional boundaries
