I am currently partnered with a large FTSE business based in Hertfordshire to recruit for a permanent Financial Reporting Accountant.
This role will suit someone who is ACA qualified with at least 1 years PQE experience from industry.
This role will report in to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements as well as ensuring monthly and quarterly results are in compliance with group policies and IFRS. You will also have responsibility for preparing technical papers on an adhoc basis with exposure to the Finance Director.
Your responsibilities for this role will include:
Managing the timeline and submission of the monthly consolidation process of the results for a multinational group.
Assisting in the review and analysis of the consolidation.
Reviewing the preparation of group budgets and forecasts.
Leading the preparation of the group IFRS financial statements, including ownership of notes to the accounts and delivery through to the external audit process.
Ownership of the Group Accounting Policies Handbook and the distribution to, and education of, the wider business.
Contributing to the production of the regular Board reporting process.
Reviewing the group tax position and the associated statutory group tax disclosures supporting the interim and year end consolidated financial statements.If this role is of interest please contact me at (url removed)
