Senior Financial Risk Manager

HFG have partnered with a UK leading insurer to assist with their search for a new senior financial risk manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified actuary with Lloyd's market insurance experience to join a team which will offer them a wide range of exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Identification and assessment of the financial risks, in particular underwriting, catastrophe, reserving and reinsurance.
• Supporting the production of regulatory submissions, including the ORSA, and regular risk monitoring and reporting to management.
• Supporting the Head of Financial Risk to deliver the relevant areas of the Risk Plan.

Key requirements

• Fully qualified actuary with experience with financial risk management as well as Lloyd's market experience
• Experience leading high performing teams to successful risk management outcomes
• Experience dealing with complex regulatory communication and negotiation
• Risk management and Solvency II requirements
