Working three days a week from home and only two days in the office, this could suit someone willing to travel two days per week for the flexibility of three days from home.
This is an exciting role working directly with the CEO and board level executives helping to ensure the financial management and reporting of the business.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, have worked in financial services or audit, and have some post qualification experience. You must have experience of producing monthly management accounts, board parks, budgeting, and forecasting as well as year-end statements.

Some of the duties will include:

• Be solely responsible for the company's finance function
• Management of external financial contractual agreements with suppliers
• Provide strategic financial planning to the board and CEO
• Overall responsibility for all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit, systems, tax, VAT analysis, and reporting
• Review and prepare monthly management accounts for the company and clients
• Managing the yearly budgeting process and P&L
• Management of the company's cash flow, transaction reporting amongst other tasks

Background the Financial Controller:

• Have previous experience of working in financial services or audit
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience of reporting to board level
• Having an understanding of investment products would be a distinct advantage
