Grafton Banks Finance Executive Search is currently assisting a rapidly expanding international SME in Brighton with the recruitment of a Finance Director. You must be a locally based FC or FD with product-based sector experience and contract review and negotiation exposure in order to apply. Suitable candidates will need to come from the manufacturing, distribution or FMCG sector and be a highly commercial and strategic finance professional. You will work with the CEO and the board to drive international growth as well as manage and motivate the finance team of 10 staff ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This role will partner the various members of the board to ensure maximum growth and profitability. You will work with the head of sales and review and negotiate new business contracts. You will also maintain the overview of the gross margin across all divisions, prepare monthly accounts to the board with information on business performance, present to the banks, manage the P&L, budgeting, forecasting and planning process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to add genuine commercial input and use their specialist sector knowledge as well as contract review and negotiation experience in a business with major growth plans.
