A top 10 accountancy firm are hiring an Audit Manager to join their fast growing Audit & Assurance team. The role will be based at their large and modern office in Southampton, Hampshire. The office is located in the city centre, just 10 minutes walk from Southampton Central train station, meaning the office is easily accessible from many areas including: Portsmouth, Salisbury and Bournemouth. There is also car parking available nearby.

You will be responsible for your own mixed client portfolio. Working closely with the Partners and Directors, you will have the freedom to plan large Audits to completion and organise your teams workload. Being responsible for your own team of more junior auditors and managing their caseloads will also be a large portion of your work, so if you are a keen people manager, then this could be a good move for you!

This role would suit someone in a strong supervisory role, ready to take the step to Manager, or alternatively, someone looking for a managerial role with more responsibility, in a bigger firm.

About You

• Should be ACA or ACCA qualified
• 4+ years proven experience in an Accountancy Practice
• External audit background
• Proven managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Experience working with SME clients in a variety of sectors

The salary associated with this role has been set by the agency and should, therefore, be viewed as market rate.
