The role

A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to provide Daily/weekly/monthly reporting of financial information and maintenance of core business systems for our Sutton Bridge Salads, Lincolnshire site.

What will you do?

Profit & Loss - Generate Profit and Loss Accounts for the factory ahead of review with Operation Accountants. Query unexpected or unusual information prior to review.Performance Reporting - To accurately prepare periodic reports for review in a timely manner (Daily/Weekly/Monthly). To submit and circulate reports. To prepare ad-hoc information for review (e.g. Variance Analysis, Labour deep dive reports).Bill of Material maintenance - To regularly set up and maintain new and existing bill of materials. Update Cost to launch tracker for completed BOMs and understand differences to costed product. Month End - Support Management Accountants at Month End. To prepare and post journals (normally performance related), and to query unexpected or unusual information. To assist with the preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations (normally performance related) for review.IPV/PPV Tracking - Report Invoice/Purchase price variance regularly and escalate to management where necessary.IS and Business Processes - To regularly maintain the Planning and Commercial system. Escalate issues to management where necessary.

We are looking for individuals who:

Proven experience in an office environment (preferably finance departments but not essential) Proven ability to build positive working relationships at all levels both internally and externallyGood Team playerAccuracy, attention to details, tenacity, drive and enthusiasmGood communication skills Be able to work to strict deadlinesMust have good working knowledge of Excel (simple formulas and pivot tables)Good numerical skills, good analytical skills and ability to problem solveBe able to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers in a timely manner
