An SME business on the outskirts of Portsmouth is recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.

This position is within a medium sized manufacturing business with a strong brand. Due to an increase in business demand, we are recruiting an Assistant Accountant as a growth role.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties include:-

Overseeing AP and AR activities
Preparation of P&L statement and balance sheets on a timely and accurate manner
Preparation of depreciation, accruals, prepayments, journals and any other relevant adjustment
Assisting with month end close
Producing MI reports for stakeholders internally The successful candidate will have the following attributes:-

AAT qualified
Experience producing accounts to trial balance
Confident working on bespoke ERP systems
