We are privileged to be working with an independently owned group, who have been operating locally for over 80 years, with the appointment of a Financial Controller.

The group currently employ around 200 staff, many of whom have been with the company for over 10years. The role of Financial Controller reports straight into the Board of Directors and will be ultimately responsible for a team of 8 finance professionals. The main areas of responsibility cover:
*Preparing and publishing budgets, monthly forecasts and variance reports
*Monthly management accounts
*Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reports
*First POC with auditors, ensuring timely production of statutory accounts
*Management of FX exposures
*Regular profitability analysis
*Manage all finance and accounting functions on a day to day basis
*Oversee payroll

Based on the outskirts of Cambridge our client is ideally looking for candidates who are already working in a senior finance role and have experience of managing teams, are CIMA or ACA qualified, have experience working with regulatory bodies, have strong excel skills and are able to manipulate large volumes of data. Experience of SAGE 200 is desirable.
