This is an exciting role for a business minded candidate with a good all-round skill set who enjoys dealing with clients and management of their affairs. Candidate must have good staff management skills and be able to efficiently run a well-established work system. This will include staff training review and development. You will be managing a team of full time and part time staff and liaising with the partners. This is a great opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial, technically excellent, and interested in practice development.

Primary responsibilities

Planning, managing and reviewing accounts preparation.

Ensuring tax compliance and planning, identifying potential tax issues and opportunities

Providing added value services

Supervision of staff

Business development activities and partner's assistant work

Being part of the practice management team

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will come from practice with good review skills and good working tax knowledge of both personal and corporate taxation. You must have work review and management experience. You should be keen to be involved in practice development work including identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.

An appreciation of the issues facing small and growing businesses

Supervision and oversight skills

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to research technical and business matters and think around an issue

Additional duties will be allocated as and when they become necessary.

In summary, the successful candidate will occupy a central role of the business and work with the Owners.
