My client, an established business which has served the south west for over 40 years, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their small accounts team.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role would suit an individual who is used to working in a fast-paced and changeable environment and is looking to be a key member of the team.

Main duties:

• Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasting
• Management accounts
• Performing month-end and year-end processes
• Extracting data from the current accounting system
• Interpreting, manipulating and presenting data

Ideal candidate for the Assistant Accountant:

• Experience in a busy commercial finance team
• Advanced Access and Excel skills
• Understanding of day to day transactions
• Excellent attention to detail
