Risk & Controls Associate

Working in our investment team you will manage the widest available range of risk-adjusted investment portfolios.

The Role

As a Risk & Controls Associate you will perform the daily External Bank Reconciliations, ensuring that any breaks are understood, aged and communicated.

Key responsibilities

* Assisting the team to perform the daily Internal Client Money Reconciliation, ensuring that this is completed in a timely and accurate manner and ensuring this meets the current CASS 7 regulations
* Completing the daily Equity Stock Reconciliation and monthly Fund Stock Reconciliation, ensuring that all breaks are understood, aged and communicated
* Completion of all daily control reports to ensure that Operations are effectively processing all daily tasks.
* Calculating the adviser and Parmenion month end fees in a timely and accurate manner
* Raising, investigating and resolving outstanding incidents

Skills and Experience required

* Experience of working for a Platform or Investment Management business
* Exposure to a regulatory role in either Risk, Compliance or Finance
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel knowledge
* Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Good communication skills
