Robert Walters are proud to be representing a well established and market leading financial services businesses as they look to hire a Statutory Reporting Assistant Manager on a permanent basis.

This role involves taking charge of a team of 5, ensuring the team work together in achieving the timely and accurate production of the annual report and accounts, along with monthly and quarterly reports to key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities including driving the team in completing the following:

• Production and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables using Excel and SAS data.
• Using knowledge of SQL and Excel to provide insight on reported positions and assurance through automated controls and reconciliations
• Ensuring that required processes are executed and appropriate governance is evidenced in line with the Financial Control Framework across and in compliance with financial control policy.
• Delivery of key projects and report / process development, working closely with our Financial Control Systems and Financial Information Management team.

This role would suit a technically strong qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with excellent Excel and analysis capabilities, along with the following:

• Familiar with SQL and executing SAS reports and is comfortable analysing and using data to improve processes
• Great organisation skills - able to prioritise a varied workload and to deliver to tight deadlines, being flexible in busy periods
• Enjoys problem solving, has an inquisitive mind and demonstrates initiative
