Introduction
Our client is a polyolefin recycler, taking mixed hard plastics from leading waste management companies and putting them through a process of shredding, sorting and washing to produce a high quality polyethene and polypropylene, which will then be sold as a product for plastic manufacturing.
Having huge success, our client are now looking for a Financial Manager who will have a strong background within recycling, waste management or manufacturing and who are looking to grow and progress within their career.
What you will be doing
As the Finacial Manager, reporting directly to the COO, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing full financial accounts including sales and purchase ledger, nominal ledger, cash book, fixed assets, and inventory
Maintaining and managing P&L and cash flow forecasts
Preparing annual budget reports as well as monthly
Preparing audits of annual financial statements, tax production and grant applications such as R&D Tax credits
Support on Capital Investment decisions
Develop financial KPIs
Ad hoc financial analysis
Proposals, negotiations, and completions
What you will need
A strong background within Financial Management/Control within Recycling, Waste or Manufacturing
CA or CIMA Qualified
5 years minimum experience across full financial function
