The Team

The global Exchange Operations team serve as the engine room of the Exchange. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in building the team and interfacing/sharing best practices with other Diginex Operations specialists around the globe.

Job Summary

Treasury Operations is responsible for Diginex-wide Exchange Treasury 0perations including process, review and approval of transactional accounting, financial analysis, liquidity management, investment management, ensuring payments to clients and suppliers are processed on a timely basis, prompt resolution of payment investigations, systems access to online banking platforms and maintaining temporary sub-delegations of authority. Treasury Operations ensures that all internal and external reporting is prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

Working with the Head of Treasury Operations, the team is responsible for Exchange liquidity management for all Deposit and Withdrawal transactions. These responsibilities include processing cash flow plans, as well as bank service charges and income analysis.

Responsibilities

• Processing and managing currency exposure and currency payments
• Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to Senior Management
• Forecasting of medium and long-term funding and hedging requirements
• Daily Cash Management
• Debt Facilities Management
• Interest Rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies
• Foreign exchange risk management and development of foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies
• Supporting the month-end process where necessary

Requirements

• Significant prior experience managing a Treasury and Operations function
• Bachelor degree or higher with 5+ years of operations experience, with a solid understanding of fintech, investment and blockchain preferred.
• Strong understanding of double-sided accounting, reconciliations and investigations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Highly flexible; comfortable working with ambiguity, frequently changing deadlines and minimal supervision
