Senior Finance Analyst
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide support to client 'Finance Leads' with all matters pertaining to finance (AP, AR, GL & Reporting). Checking bank statement and performing bank reconciliations to keep track of incoming receipts (funding) from client, and outgoing payments to vendors. Initiating payment requests to vendors for overdue invoices (and keeping track of P2P team's processing of said payment requests). Investigate queries relating to vendor payment status and vendor invoice status. Investigating and resolving all issues/problems pertaining to vendor invoicing and vendor payments. Assist with ensuring all billing / revenue data is captured accurately within PeopleSoft Financial (PSF) and provide monthly aging reports, billing summaries and any other ad-hoc reports. Perform UAT within PSF and coordinate with APAC Governance on overall process improvements within the C2C modules. Liaise with respective local / APAC Finance Teams across APAC on month end close or other matters.
·Ensure the Finance Leads provide timely requests and get their billings out to clients within clients' expectations and to provide accruals / adjustments if otherwise.
Assist on generating countries journal load templates for monthly accrual / adjustment entries. Provide aging reports for clients on a scheduled basis. Assist the Transitions Team to ensure respective dedicated bank accounts details and clients billing entities are setup within PSF prior to go live dates. Ensure invoice templates are in accordance to corporate requirements and clients' expectations. Work closely with APAC Governance on UATs for process improvements or format changes and ensure validity before providing signoff. Any other assignments as directed by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
• Education: Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4-6 years' experience in finance / accounting
• Attention to detail, highly organized and methodical in your approach to work and the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and on time.
• Must be team and results oriented with high level of commitment.
• Excellent inter-personal/communication skills.
• Proficiency in English. Ability to effectively interact with and adapt to both Asian and Western business management style/culture.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to adapt to business environment changes.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities / parties.
