The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
As one of our Senior Risk Assurance Advisors, you will provide focused assurance over the Te Hau Ora/Digital Portfolio risks. This assurance may be through carrying out reviews as part of the annual assurance programme or providing advice and guidance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and learn from others, and an exciting time to join Waka Kotahi as it embarks on a range of different digital projects. You will be involved in report writing, risk analysis and risk management while also seeing the bigger picture and communicating strategic thinking to the rest of the team.
This is a busy and varied role. We are looking for a self-motivated analytical thinker, who has a proactive approach to learning and an inquiring mind.

This role is a 0.5 position of 20hrs a week.
About you | Ko koe tēnei
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

* Solid proven experience in a technology audit or assurance role, ideally working at a senior level already
* The ability to apply knowledge of audit tools and frameworks to a broad range of processes
* Good knowledge of audit/risk frameworks
* Sound experience of risk and control analysisStrong communication skills, both verbal and written with clear business writing skills.
* Proven success at managing relationships and providing excellent customer service
