This is an interim Management Accountant opportunity for a qualified accountant that is available to take on an assignment at short notice
Client Details
My client are a well established business in the Gloucestershire area and due to a period of growth are looking to expand their Finance team by bringing in interim support
Description
The main responsibilities within this role are:
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts for other subsidiaries
- Assisting with the preparation of the consolidated group accounts
- Reconciling and managing multi-currency bank accounts
- Weekly cashflow forecast management
- Payroll management
- Month end stock reporting
- Preparation of statutory HMRC returns
- Assisting the sales team with ad-hoc contract pricing requests
- Exploring potential areas for cost saving and increased profitability
- Business partnering with other functions across the wider business
- Managing and assisting a small team of direct reports
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
- A track record of working to strict deadlines within similar roles
- Supervisory experience - this leads a small team
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
