A leading global retail organisation, based in Manchester city centre, are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to assist them during an extremely busy period.

The Role and Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant Position will include:

Support in the maintenance of financial ledgers accounting processes.
Support in the review of the Consolidation Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
Support in the timely production of statutory and financial reports.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Company's accounting records and financial systems.
Assist in providing relevant and timely financial information to the Board to enable a balanced and objective assessment of the Company's strategy and objectives.
Collaborate in the execution of the Finance strategy with your global colleagues.
Support the FP&A team where appropriate on budgeting/forecasting.
Develop new ways of working, identifying potential control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.The successful individual will;

Be ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified or QBE and overseas equivalent
Have strong excel and systems skills
Prior experience of using an ERP will be beneficial
Be available at short notice
