As a Credit Controller, you'll work in conjunction with the accounts department by ensuring efficient administration and management of outstanding balances due before they become overdue and initiate proceedings if necessary.

You'll be required to produce regular financial reports and month end statements. You'll maintain an effective and professional credit control system, identify changes in payment patterns, maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and provide financial information to senior leaders on an ad hoc basis.

Ideally you'll have proven experience in a credit control or similar environment and should have up to date knowledge relating to finance, VAT and taxation.

You'll be highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines. You'll have experience of using computer systems for both data input and reporting purposes and be comfortable liaising with people over the phone. You'll also be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
