We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for our site in Willand.

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters' business by sales. The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Financial Accountant you will be a key member of the site's Finance team, providing financial support to assist the site in achieving its key objectives; key elements will include

developing & improving the systems which monitor operating profitability, including Capex requests, fixed asset register, balance sheet records, collating weekly/monthly reports as well as measuring production and operating efficiencies. You'll also:

• Review overhead spend with Managers on a regular basis with a view to controlling costs and facilitating better forecasts and budgets.
• Responsible for putting together the site balance sheet for budgets and quarterly forecasting. Reporting against budget /forecasts.
• To provide cover / review the weekly P&L forecasts.
• Capex: To include payback analysis on projects and maintaining the FAR.
• Keeping tight controls to prevent both blocked and parked invoices whilst maintaining the dashboard.
• Responsible for reconciling the full balance sheet and providing full detailed analysis to ensure control and eliminate risks.
• Provide support to the site Financial Controller, ensuring functional targets are achieved and also ensuring that changing business requirements are met.
• Review and monitor working capital, attend weekly meetings, report against plan and challenge site management team.

• Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA OR Part Qualified with experience preferably gained in a food manufacturing environment
