My client is seeking a qualified accountant to join their team as a Financial Controller within a role that takes sole responsibility for finance. The organisation operates in a very niche sector and is based in North Hampshire.

The duties cover all aspects of finance and some operational/administration duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Production of monthly management accounts, month end close and KPI reporting

- Producing a range MI reports and analysis to be utilised by the business managers
- Responsibility for the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting

- A range of additional duites such as, reconcillations,sales and purchase ledger.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent), and will have undertaken a similar role in a small business. Additionally, they will possess strong technical accounting and systems skills, including advanced Excel.
