Following a significant Private-Equity investment, a leading Life Sciences organisation are looking for an ambitious Group FP&A Analyst to join in a newly created role. The Group FP&A Analyst own core group budgeting, forecasting and reporting to C-Suite and investors, as well as get involved in ad-hoc projects including acquisition integration, fundraising and scenario/cashflow modelling.


The role has broad scope and has a substantial opportunity to shape the role, the function and rapid career progression.


Some key

responsibilities:

  • Own the core Group FP&A monthly/quarterly reporting processes (CFO Board report, CEO KPIs report, Quarterly Bank and Rating Agency updates). Work closely with the Group FP&A manager to ensure delivery of accurate and insightful reporting to the LGC Board, CFO, Group FD and other senior stakeholders in a timely, efficient and effective manner
  • Drive improvement of the Group FP&A data analytics, reporting solutions, financial models and processes that support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and actuals performance management
  • Provide ad-hoc project support to priority group FP&A initiatives (M&A, fund raise, systems development, scenario modelling, cash flow modelling, investor relations)


Who you are:

  • Have excellent academic qualifications, with a degree in a numeric or business related subject
  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA or similar financial qualification preferable
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
  • Experience in financial planning, displaying strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment with quickly evolving, often ambiguous or uncertain, business goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A positive 'can do' attitude
  • Previous experience in a private equity or group environment would be advantageous
