Jacob Grey have partnered with a well known Hertford based Charity to recruit their Financial Controller. Reporting to the Head of Finance your responsibilities would include:

- Responsibility for the day to day financial accounting activities

- Lead on year-end and audit preparation, acting as the main point of contact for the auditors.

- Assist with the annual planning and budgeting process

- Producing management accounts each month and providing commentary on key variances and any known risks.

- Monitor and manage cash and investments and raise any concerns

- Preparation of financial reports to Board of Trustees or stakeholders in close collaboration with Treasurer.

- Liaise with Charity's legal advisers to ensure trademark registration and renewal is performed in accordance with required deadlines

- Overseeing sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, cash flow, payroll, VAT
