Payroll Officer
Payroll Officer - Permanent - Edinburgh Change recruitment group are delighted to be working with a not for profit organisation in the search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the end to end payroll function. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to be developed within a dynamic and supportive team. Key responsibilities will include:
• Processing of salary payments
• Management of the Payroll Inbox
• Processing of pension auto enrolment contributions
• Completing statutory forms (eg P45's, P46's etc) and forwarding to HMRC
• Processing student loans / wages arrestments / SSP / SMP etc as required
• Completing and submitting funding applications to HMRC for SMP / tax rebates as and when required
• Consolidating / submitting End of Year Returns (HMRC PAYE On-line processing)
• Dealing with payroll queries
• Assistance with archiving of all financial payroll documentation for previous financial years Keys skills and experience required:
• Experienced in end to end payroll
• Excellent working knowledge of Sage payroll
• Understanding of Payroll legislation and Pension auto enrolment
• Good Microsoft office skills, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
