Robert Half are partnering with a long standing client in Southampton who are currently recruiting for an interim Billings Clerk. This role is working with a great team and brilliant brand.

Role

As UK businesses adapt to the 'new norm' and begin to find routine and stability in today's climate; this role has evolved due to the organisations client portfolio increasing their demand, which is great to see. Consequently, as workload increases the demand for top talent is required! The hiring manager is looking for someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and engage with customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Communicating effectively with customers.

- Raising invoices to client base.

- Dealing with complicated queries.

- Take payments over the phone and process into a PDQ machine.

- Reconcile payments with Excel and the CRM system.

- Meet payment deadlines.

- Chase monies when necessary.

Profile

The right candidate for this role would of worked in a very similar environment and will be willing to be confident on the phone. You will have a finance background in payments and fully understand the process. A degree / AAT / practical experience in taking payments would be beneficial.
