Job Details
My client is a successful and fast-growing healthcare consultancy in Reading that is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join their leadership team, working alongside the MD and Operations Director to drive the business strategy. You will be responsible for managing a team of four, producing all month end accounts, management accounts, year end reporting, dealing with auditors, group VAT returns, and liaising with senior stakeholders within the business.

My client is a healthcare consultancy based in Reading with a brilliant ethos and values. This is a caring yet very fast paced and commercial business, seeking a Finance Manager to add strategic financial direction for the growth of the firm, as well as manage the team of 4.
Description
The main responsibilities of the Finance Manager are:
- full responsibility for the management accounts
- budgeting and forecasting
- variance analysis
- production of month, quarter and year end accounts
- dealing with auditors
- management of 4 in the finance team
- reporting capex to directors
- financial risk analysis
- deal with contractors and all external stakeholders when needed
Profile
You must be incredibly commercial and deadline driven, working quickly and efficiently.
Communication skills and integrity are paramount.
Adaptable management style
Be able to "sense-check" decisions made by the SLT and advise on financial strategy
Be able to work in an SME environment, mucking-in with all finance tasks when needs
Have sound knowledge of payroll
Background working in the healthcare sector would be ideal but not necessary
Job Offer
The salary on offer is up to £50,000 plus free parking in Reading!
