About the Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will support the Payroll Manager on a number of important initiatives including streamlining of processes and procedures, improving payroll controls and looking at opportunities for automation.
You will also be responsible for the maintenance of payroll data and information to ensure that our people are paid in accordance with the appropriate employment agreements & legislation, your key responsibilities will also include:

About the Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will support the Payroll Manager on a number of important initiatives including streamlining of processes and procedures, improving payroll controls and looking at opportunities for automation.
You will also be responsible for the maintenance of payroll data and information to ensure that our people are paid in accordance with the appropriate employment agreements & legislation, your key responsibilities will also include:
- Ensuring control is maintained and auditable.
- Processing payroll in accordance with the Holidays Act and Company Policy
- ACC
- Parental Leave Processes
- Pay Day Filing
- Separations
- Reporting using Spinifex
- Payroll posting and reconciliations in SAP
About You
You'll be a team player with excellent communication skills, who has demonstrated the ability to identify areas for improvement. You will also have:
- End to End payroll processing in SAP
- Strong SAP Technical experience
- GL Reconciliation experience
- Understands NZ payroll legislation
- Trouble shooting and problem solving skills
