Client Details
- Retail business based in Burton Upon Trent
Description
- Work with the relevant dedicated accountant to produce pub P&Ls to the highest quality through booking journals and reviewing P&Ls
- Meet with the Operations Managers and Department Managers on a regular basis to support cost reduction/sales growth initiatives
- Effectively run month end reporting processes, ensuring local reporting software is populated with the periodic reports by the required time lines and supporting a five-day period closure
- Produce outlet specific Budgets and re-forecast P&Ls as required
- Support the Business Reporting Manager to produce Board Exec reporting Packs and daily and weekly sales reporting
- Lead continuous improvements in financial process and controls across the Finance function, performing mini audits to ensure we have the most optimal processes and data is accurate
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis as and when required
Profile
- A Self-motivated individual - able to work on own initiative but also to be flexible in supporting a team
- Previous experience of working to tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organisation
- Strong excel
- CIMA/ ACCA qualified
