The opening is permanent position at junior executive level. This position is reporting to Accountant/Finance Manager, the role will work in close liaison with both the reconciliation and accounts receivable teams.
The main purpose of the position is to provide assistance and support to the Finance Manager in monitoring daily transactions. It will include relevant aspects of accounting functions such as purchase and sales ledger maintenance, processing invoices, supplier reconciliation,bank reconciliation and inventory management. Part of the role and duties will be performing posting of the accounting information in the accounting system.
Main tasks and duties:
• Responsible for preparation of payment voucher,cheque and Banker Acceptance documents.
• Perform banks,suppliers,customers and inter-company reconciliation.
• Monitor,control and provide reports on cash book,Receivable collection and payable payments.
• Assist in preparation of monthly closing in management reports and Accounts.
• Maintain proper record keeping.
About the candidate
Candidate for this junior role must possess minimum LCCI Diploma qualification in Accounting.Candidate should have at least one to two years of accounting experience in trading/wholesale distribution accounts. Strong Excel and Mathematics skills are essential to succeed in this role.

To be considered for this role, candidate must be proficient in spoken and written English besides conversant in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Chinese/Mandarin.
