Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Private Equity backed Tech Company

South East / London / WFH

Base salary to £65,000

Outstanding opportunity to join a highly profitable, Private Equity backed, sub £100m t/o tech company. This company has successfully navigated the pandemic with minimal disruption.

Having secured additional investment this year, the business is looking forward to the prospect of executing its plan in the next 3-5 years. This plan includes customer growth, new product development and possible M&A.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities will be broad as they are deep. You will look at every aspect of the business, in order to add value to senior management.

The Role

• Ownership and coordination of budgeting and forecasting;
• Development, tracking and reporting of key business KPI's for senior management;
• Management accounts deck ownership and analysis with the Financial Controller and CFO;
• Ad hoc analysis; business cases; special projects etc;
• Support the month end, year-end process;
• Financial support for sales & marketing teams;
• Pipeline reporting; deep understanding of revenue forecast etc;
• Divisional profitability analysis;
• Support tender and bid processes with all stakeholders (sales, legal etc);
• Special projects as required;

The Candidate

Our client wishes to appoint a qualified ACA, who has spent a couple of years out of practice, with this role likely to be their 2nd role following qualification.

• Qualified ACA - having trained with a Big 4 firm;
• Excellent system skills including Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills;
• Good communication & presentation skills; ability to make finance simple;
• Analytical, accurate and inquisitive mindset;
• Strong work ethic - ability to meet tight deadlines;
