We are looking for an Interim/FTC Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team

Role: The role will support across in a number of areas and tasks including the below:

Preparation for the annual Group Audit including supporting schedules, analysis and reports
Preparation of statutory financial statements
Preparation of analysis and schedules for taxation
Other adhoc projects and tasks will also be required
The role provides a good range of work for someone with solid technical skills and with a mixed background of audit and accounts workRequirements:

Possess a wide range of audit and accounts experience (minimum 3-5 years) with particular emphasis on audit expertise and the preparation of statutory financial statements including Group Accounts
Preferably a qualified accountant or finalist (ACA or ACCA)
Experience of working with FMCG sector, and owner managed businesses an advantage
You must be motivated, well organised, commercially minded and have a clear perception of audit requirements
You will possess good interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative and be able to provide accurate work in a timely and efficient manner
Demonstrate a flexible, professional and hands on approach
A natural team player is essential, with a positive and enthusiastic attitudeThis is based on a 3 month contract (with an immediate start) but given the significant growth of the company this could evolve into a longer contract or an opportunity for a more permanent position for the right candidate.
