Finance Team Assistant- Fixed Term Reporting to: Finance Team Manager

Crewe Type: Temporary/ Fixed Term/ Full time
Salary:
£21, per annum Summary of Role: We are looking to welcome an experienced and capable Finance Assistant on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave and to start with us ASAP. Our busy Finance department produces financial statements for multiple limited companies and our perfect candidate would have experience of this. Reporting to the Finance Team Manager and working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will undertake a variety of accounting and banking responsibilities as part of a friendly team. The successful candidate will have strong accounting capabilities and ideally have experience of working with currency conversions and import/export invoices. Competencies Required: * Current experience of working in accounts - minimum of 2 years * Confident with Sage 50 * Strong Excel skills * Experience of currency conversions when working with invoices and posting payments * Proficient in reconciling ledger accounts, accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliations * Highly numerate with a keen eye for accuracy Desirable: * Intrastat and credit control experience would be advantageous * AAT qualification We Offer: * Competitive salary with pension scheme and annual salary review * Free parking with easy access to rail and bus routes * Fun and exciting social events * An intelligent, good humoured and modern thinking work force * Generous long service cash rewards at 5, ,10, ,15, & 20 years' service Please click 'Apply' to continue your application.
