Selective Recruitment Solutions have just registered a new, exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a reputable organisation in Wallingford on a temporary basis.

Offer package;
Role: Purchase Ledger Assistant/Accounts Assistant
Duration: Temporary, 6 weeks minimum


Location:
Wallingford
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hour per week


Salary:
£10.00 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Primary duties:
* Maintain accurate supplier information, setting up of new vendors ensuring correct approvals granted, blocking of redundant vendor accounts.
* Purchase Order control
* Ensure all invoices are processed in time for month end deadlines and communicate with the business as required to facilitate this.
* Reconciliations and communication with suppliers
* Payment of suppliers
* Assistance with data for preparation of the monthly management accounts
* Maintain cash books (and integrated cash posting to sales ledgers) and reconcile bank statements
* Control of petty cash
* Preparation and input of sales invoices

Candidate Specification:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Complete understanding of double entry
* Previous experience of SAP
* Previous experience of managing vendor ledger (Desirable)
