We have a rare opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor on a 15 month fixed term contract based at our offices at the Birmingham Business Park, B37 7YN.

Hours of work are 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, 8.45am-4.45pm (4.15pm finish on Fridays).

The ideal candidate is an experienced Supervisor who will be ensuring that team targets are met, reviewing ledgers, balances and processes. You will also be dealing with Branch and supplier queries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the Accounts Payable team

• Ensuring team are completing all AP process and that all SLA's are met

• Carrying out payment runs

• Dealing with any Legal letters

• Managing the volume of registered invoices

• Carrying out AP month end processes

Required Experience / Skills

• Supervisory experience

• Accounts Payable background

• Experience of reviewing and improving internal processes

• Experience of reconciling complex accounts

• Excel (inc. pivot tables and formulas)

• Great attention to detail

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Must be able to travel to B37 7YN and be office based
