Our client is a growing entrepreneurial start up business in London. This tech company has developed into an international brand rapidly and is a genuinely exciting company to work for. They have established a senior management team in London and this role will be the second finance hire, a very integral role for the business. Backed my some high profile names, they boast ambitious growth plans and require a qualified individual with technical strength, yet commercial mind-set to work in the young and dynamic environment. The role will initially be working remotely, with a view of a return to the Central London office in 2021.


Reporting into the CFO, this will be a varied and fluid role, duties will include;


  • Delivering financial analysis to challenge the business and provide monthly review
  • Management reporting
  • Contribute commercially to increasing profitability, working closely with marketing and sales internationally
  • Financial reporting, inclusive of budgeting and forecasting
  • Establishing more efficient commercial processes
  • Identifying key trends and planning / challenging accordingly, inclusive of pricing and promotional activities
  • Year end reporting
  • Liaising with auditors


Experience required;


  • Qualified Accountant
  • Start up / entrepreneurial business experience a major advantage (either directly or perhaps from specialist units within a practice environment)
  • Technical strength
  • Strong analytical exposure is ideal
  • Progressive individual with strong academics
  • Strong character who will thrive in a fast paced business


To £60,000 plus excellent bonus (genuinely!) / package.
