Credit Controller - East Yorkshire - £19,000 - £21,000
Our client is a well-established business in their sector and is looking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team on a permanent basis. The role is based near Pocklington.
Reporting directly into the Credit Control Manager, your key responsibilities as Credit Controller will include:
* Creating & setting up new customer accounts on the system including setting credit limits
* Maintaining and updating customer accounts within the accounting system
* Chasing overdue debt by phone and email to obtain payments
* Accurate processing of all cash receipts
* Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries
* Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations
Requirements:
* A good team player with ability to build and maintain both colleague and client relations at pace
* Experienced in a similar credit control/sales ledger role in a busy environment
* IT literate including in Excel
* Strong communication skills, including ability to build relationships internally and with various clients
