Harris Pye are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join our team in Bridgend (CF31) on a Permanent basis.

Key Accountabilities:

* Input starters and leavers on to system as communicated by the HR department

* Ensure that all correct payroll paperwork is complete for all starters & leavers

* Calculate and process hours worked from time and attendance reports (time sheets)

* Maintain insurance records

* Complete payroll year end on line filing

* Process payment information to ensure timely payments to employees.

* Print and issue pay slips.

* Print weekly payroll reports, including reports detailing labour costs and overtime costs

* Reconcile all relevant control accounts for payroll

* Keeping up to date with relevant legislation affecting payroll and the above accountabilities

* Maintain bridge tolls badges & reporting

* Maintain fuel cards & reporting

* Ensure adherence to fuel card policy

* Maintain approved drivers list

* Undertake any additional duties as and when required by the line manager/business

* Promote health and safety and ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.

* Ensuring adherence to all company policies & procedures.

* To identify system weaknesses and suggest new/efficient procedures to strengthen

* Promote health and safety and ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures

Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

* Excellent communication skills

* Excellent IT skills, including excel, internet & Opera

* Confident and professional telephone manner

* Able to work efficiently and meet required deadlines.

* Good team player

* Product & business knowledge

* Excellent attention to detail

* Excellent organisational skills

* Ability to manage workload efficiently

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday. 8:30-5:00

Start Date:

12th October 2020

Rate:

Negotiable depending on experience.

Holidays:

20 days + 8 bank holidays
