My client in the Banking insdustry is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. The main purpose of the role is to assist the Management Accounting and Reporting group to meets it objectives in terms of management of the general ledger and related policies and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the directors and the business as required.

You must be able to start ASAP, and have strong excel skills and a working knowledge of Essbase in order to apply to this role.

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant

Ensure monthly attestations, reconciliations are complete and reviewed for any exceptions.
Review of revenue and cost streams and perform sensitivity analysis around variances.
Prepare monthly high level commentary and balance sheets by businesses for senior management.
Transfer pricing amounts booked correctly and summarized with all invoice documentation.
Provide support for London business managers to enable them to monitor and manage their financials effectively.
Prepare analysis to support various disclosures.

Requirements of the Management Accountant

Strong Excel skills; Pivot tables, lookup functions and other data manipulation functions - Essential
Good analytical ability
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Experience of Essbase and Corporate General Ledger experience
