Bookkeeper
A client is looking for an efficient bookkeeper to support their thriving accounting practice. The practice provides: Accounting, Tax advice, Payroll, VAT and Book-keeping services.
This role is office based and will be working with a small but friendly team where excellent customer service, competency and team support drives their daily interactions.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Bookkeeping tasks for various clients assigned using VT plus and QuickBooks software as well as any other accounting software assigned.
* Accounts and Tax preparation using TaxCalc software.
* Preparation of VAT returns once bookkeeping tasks are completed.
* Bank reconciliations as part of bookkeeping
* VAT, Debtor, Creditor and PAYE accounts reconciliation.
* Completion/calculation of payroll tasks using Payroll Manager Software, if assigned.
* Extensive use of Microsoft Excel worksheets
* Regular contact with clients by telephone and in person to clarify bookkeeping, accounting and tax positions.
* Other relevant (admin) duties.
We are looking for a flexible candidate with a good sense of humour, excellent Bookkeeping experience, great attitude and willing to 'hit the ground running'.

* Required Qualifications: Quickbooks and AAT
* Hourly Rate: £12 to £15 per hour - depending on experience
* Working Hours: Up to 30Hours per week
* Start date: Early October, 2020.
