Your new role:

Nigel Wright Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well known business in Darlington in their recruitment of a Group Senior Management Accountant.

A key part of this role is to increase and enhance the business capability and focus on all aspects of detailed forecasting, budgeting and planning activities, as well as provide assistance to the Group Financial Controller and existing senior accounts team.

Responsibilities:

A key aspect of this role will be responsibility for the day to day project management and coordination of the forecast and budget processes,

Other duties will involve:

• Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and working closely with the Senior Management Accountants and their teams.
• Having regular interaction with each of the Divisional FD's and their respective Finance Managers.
• You will also be involved in a range of strategic growth initiatives (organic and non organic).
• Regular interaction with the Group CFO, as well as some exposure with other Operating Board members.

As the ideal candidate you will:

• Be Qualified - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA
• Be a confident finance professional with strong inter-personal skills and an ability to form strong relationships across divisions and departments.
• Experience and comfortable managing and interacting large scale data sets.
• High level of Excel literacy.
• Confidence and experience on detailed Balance sheet.
• Prior experience in large scale financial modelling.
