Our client, a highly successful, fast-growing entity with an impressive market share, is looking to source an ambitious and talented Management Accountant to join its ranks. This is the perfect role for a Part-Qualified/Finalist or even newly Qualified who has trained in a fast-paced environment and is now looking to progress their career in a varied role, which will involve both accounting & commercial responsibilities.

Main duties include:
* Complete and review the monthly management accounts for one company within the group
* Represent finance in monthly commercial meetings
* Monthly P&L reviews
* Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
* Help to lead the monthly financial close process
* Develop monthly management packs and internal KPIs
* Liaise with Operational Teams regarding financial performance
* Prepare VAT returns and dealing with HMRC queries
* Produce year end audit pack
* Produce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

Key skills & experience required:
* Actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA Qualification or newly qualified
* Strong experience either gleaned in practice or in a fast-paced industry environment
* Strong communicator and team player
* Ability to challenge the status quo
* Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
* Self-starter who can utilise their own initiative
* Positive and proactive approach to tasks
* Career minded, keen to develop and challenge themselves
