This is a super role for a long standing client of Hays Accountancy and Finance; working from a brand new out of town office facility, your role will cover the day to day processing of a high volume Accounts Payable function. Undaunted by pace, with fantastic attention to detail, you will be working with a tight knit team.
Duties will include
- Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes and purchase orders to invoices received
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Process business expense returns and petty cash
- Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
You will need some experience of a Accounts payable or general Accounts Assistant roles.....and you will need to understand the basic principles of double entry bookkeeping, so this is not an entry level position....... but it would be a great opportunity to develop your existing skill set with a supportive and inclusive group of people!
